Guardian 'City' Beta

Windows XP and Windows 2000

The beta release, code named 'City', is a complete installation of Guardian. It may be run side by side with an existing Guardian 2.0 release.

Customer Requirements

• Sign a Gryphon Networks formal Beta Non-Disclosure Agreement

• Try to test the product for a minimum of 5 hours a week

• Report on defects found during beta testing via email at guardianbeta@gryphonnetworks.com

• Participate in conference calls or one-on-one calls, as needed

• Answer survey questions, as needed

• Report feedback on reliability, stability, and readiness of product for the marketplace

• Provide feedback regarding product documentation and help systems.

Additional List Certifications Channels supported

• Certify lists of FAX

• Certify list of direct mail addresses. Source Direct Mail addresses must match exactly with target direct mail addresses in this version

Maintenance of additional customer list file uploads for internal 'do not contact' lists

• Upload lists of FAX numbers

• Upload lists of Direct-Mail address

• Add/Remove single FAX number to/from a internal do-not-fax list

Guardian Beta 1 Known Issues

This document describes the known issues in Guardian Beta 1.

540 - Editing the Postal Mail attributes has no effect on certification. Regardless of the settings on the dialog Postal Mail matches on First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State, and Zip.

Workaround - none at this time. This issue will be resolved in a future release.

561 - Using the file wizard to upload email addresses to the internal 'do not email' list does not work properly.

Workaround - use the manual entry screen to add email addresses to you internal list. This issue will be resolved in a future release.

463 - When using FTP to certify a lead and attempting to select another file while a preview list is loading selecting the 'close' box Guardian will produce the following message 'the program is not responding' to end the program now, click End Now?. Clicking 'End Now' terminates the program.

Workaround - use the 'Cancel' option to avoid ending the programming.
