The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission issued a request for proposals yesterday to find an operator to develop, implement and manage the National Do Not Call List. The list will help reduce the number of unsolicited calls Canadians receive, as they will have the option of adding their numbers to the database. The CRTC published rules for the creation and operation of the list on July 3.
