Gryphon Networks is committed to respecting its clients and partners privacy and protecting personally identifiable information (PII) it collects or maintains on behalf of its clients and partners. Gryphon is certified with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Safe Harbor Program and adheres to U.S.-EU Safe Harbor framework principles for the protection of PII transferred from the EU to Gryphon’s data processing locations.

Scope

This privacy policy sets forth the principles that Gryphon adheres to with regards to the collection, protection and online and offline transfer of PII processed by Gryphon.

Personally Identifiable Information (PII) – Personally identifiable information is information about you that can reasonably be used to identify you as a natural person, such as your name, address or email address. Personally identifiable information does not include information that has been anonymized, reported in the aggregate, or publicly available that has not been combined with non-public personal information.

Privacy Principles

Information Collection - Gryphon only collects PII and demographic information that you choose to provide us via our website (www.gryphonnetworks.com). We may use cookies to track your web use and enable access to various features in our website and PII may be stored in these cookies. Most computer users have the option of setting their computer preferences to not accept any cookies. If users select this option, however, they may not be able to log in to our customer portal (www.client.gryphonneworks.com). Any PII contained within a cookie will be treated with the same level of protection as other PII collected and maintained by Gryphon.

Gryphon also receives, stores and processes PII provided by its clients and partners both online and offline.

Information Storage and Processing - By providing information via our website or any Gryphon service, you consent to the storage and processing of your information. We may use and process your PII for the purpose(s) for which it was provided or as otherwise required to provide Gryphon services. When legally required, Gryphon will provide both notice of our intent to process your PII and choice to opt-out of future processing of such information. Gryphon also processes PII on behalf of and as instructed by clients and partners. We do not own, control or have the right to disclose or modify such information. Gryphon does not disclose PII provided to us by our clients and partners except at their direction. .

Information Disclosure and Transfer - Gryphon does not share, rent, sell or exchange PII submitted via our website, unless we are ordered by a court, otherwise required by law or have a good faith belief access, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Gryphon, its clients, partners, website users or the public. PII submitted to us is only available to employees or agents we have determined reasonably need to access it in order to provide services to you or carry out the purpose(s) for which it was collected. Gryphon will only transfer PII to a third party where the third party has provided assurance that it will provide at least the same level of security and protection as prescribed by this privacy policy.

Information Integrity and Security – Gryphon has implemented physical, procedural, and technical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access to or disclosure of PII, to protect data accuracy, and to ensure appropriate use of such information, whether in electronic or hard copy form.

To the extent that access rights pertain to data that Gryphon does not own or have the right to disclose or modify, Gryphon will make a reasonable effort to identify and notify the relevant data owner of your request.

Enforcement and Dispute Resolution – Gryphon utilizes the self-assessment approach to assure compliance with this privacy policy, and regularly consults this privacy policy to verify it is accurate, comprehensive, and conforms to safe harbor privacy principles. If you feel that Gryphon is not abiding by this privacy policy or is not in compliance with the E.U. safe harbor privacy principles please contact us via a method provided under Contact Information below. If your concern is not resolved by Gryphon, you may report your concern to the relevant E.U. Data Protection Authority (DPA). By voluntarily certifying with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Safe Harbor Program Gryphon has made itself subject to the program’s dispute resolution, enforcement and sanctioning powers and has agreed to comply with orders regarding the processing of PII.

Children – Gryphon’s website is not intended for and should not be used by children under 13 years old. Please inform us if you are aware of any PII associated with a child entered via Gryphon’s website so we may delete it .

Updates to the Privacy Policy - Please note that this privacy policy may change from time to time. Such changes are effective upon posting and will be communicated on our website under the privacy policy section.
