Eric joined the Gryphon Board of Directors in 2007 and was elected CFO and Treasurer in 2008. Along with key board members, Eric has helped structure and finance Gryphon to strongly position the company for sustainable growth during recessionary times.
Complementing the breadth and scope of Gryphon's industry experience, including financial services, Eric has worked as a strategic consultant to venture capital, merchant banking, consumer products, computer software and life-science-service companies.
Prior to joining Gryphon, Eric was Managing Director of O'Conor, Wright, Wyman, a Boston-based full-service investment banking company. He focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions transactions, across a spectrum of industries, serving both the buy and sell-sides.
Earlier in his career, Eric was Managing Director of MedTech Capital, an investment banking company specializing in life sciences, and President and CEO of CliniSys, Inc., a clinical reference laboratory. Additionally, Eric has also served as Executive Vice President and COO of a large pharmaceutical and hospital supply company, which became a platform company for Cardinal Health.
Eric holds a BA and MBA from Boston University and has completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
